Q: Which bags are airline compatible?

A: We understand you want to keep your gear with you at all times when travelling but unfortunately there isn’t one specific size and weight guideline published to cover all airlines and destinations. Our product page recommendations are based on the latest British Airways guidelines (56 x 45 x 25 cm) however as this can vary between countries and airlines we recommend you always contact your specific carrier for their up-to-date size and weight restrictions before you travel.

Q: How do I find my All-Weather Cover™?

A: Lowepro bags with AW (‘All-Weather’ – get-it?) in their name include our patented All Weather Cover™, a built-in raincoat for downpours, snow, sand, dust and hot sun. They are typically located in the bottom or back of the pack in a zippered, or hook–and-loop fastener secured pocket.  If you are experiencing difficulty finding it, feel free to contact us.

Q: How do I look after the zippers on my bag?

A: Always try to take strain off the zipper before closing your bag.  Press the cover down to compress your bag or pack before zipping.  Don't use the zipper itself to pull the sides of the compartment closed, as this puts undue stress on both the pull and the zipper coil.

Always use the compression straps, if available, that cross the main zipper.  The straps will provide support by taking strain off of the zipper and contribute to a longer zipper life. 

Q: How do I clean my Lowepro product?

A: Proper cleaning of all Lowepro products should be handled with care. We caution against use of any detergent and recommend mild soap instead. Simply spot treat or hand wash with warm/cold water and mild soap, followed by hanging the item to dry.

Q: What is the best way to pack my Lowepro bag?

A: Our removable divider system allows for various configuration options so you can put your kit exactly where you want it. We understand that everyone works differently and so our bags reflect this. With backpacks, generally, it's recommended that the heaviest items are placed towards the bottom of the bag for best balance.

Q: What does the Lowepro Warranty cover?

A: Our limited consumer warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in your Lowepro product. It lasts as long as you, the original purchaser, own your Lowepro product. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, mishandling, misuse, alteration, abnormal storage conditions, negligence by you or a third party or accidental damage; nor does it cover fair wear and tear including the natural breakdown of materials that occurs after extended use (i.e. zips, fabric abrasion), etc.).
